About Us
My name is Sarah and I am the owner of R & D.
My first dogs were Ruby and Daisy who I named the business after. Ruby was the matriarch of the pack, little did I know how much of an affinity and love I had for Dogs until those two came along. It was a steep learning curve having 2 boisterous puppies in my home and they certainly taught me a lot! I thought raising children was hard until I had my two pups.

Several years later I had a chance encounter with a couple who had moved into the village I was living in. I started walking Blue every day for
2 1/2 years, and before I knew it I had built up a small little dog walking business to complement my part time job. This progressed to boarding their dog too.
With a dog boarding licence then in place, this is when the Boarding began.
Fast forward 12 years on, I am now Mum to 4 rescue Labradors; Lottie. Arthur, Charlie and Melody. I moved house to facilitate the growing business which can now accommodate up to 10 visiting dogs for their holidays.
Rehoming rescue dogs is rewarding, however it has also been challenging at times, however what I didn't realise 18 years ago was the love and rapport I have for all breeds of dogs.
